I was surprised that PDP bigwigs allowed Ayu to be. Chairman. He sold the Senate to IBB in 1993. He just sold PDP and Southerners to Atikuchukwu Abubakar this past weekend. Northerners wouldn't have contested for the office of the Presidency, if the South has thrown their weight on south east.

Well, Gov. Wike has himself to blame for his 'Putin-istic' attitude. And things could get worse for him when his tenure ends. He might find himself completely outside the umbrella. Fortunately, Kwankwanso's NNPP is there to absorb Internally Displaced Politicians (IDP) from both PDP and APC.

How many Yorubas did you see aspiring for the presidency in PDP at the just concluded primary election? How many south eastern and southern aspirants do we have?

Don't be too sure about that. If a southerner eventually emerges as the APC party flag bearer,some very powerful elements within the party, who are protagonists of power must remain in the north,will secretly work for the emergence of Atiku as the next President. Do you guys think Buhari,who gave almost 90% of his appointments to his fulani brethren,is in support of any Southerner succeeding him ? What is however certain is that this northern conspiracy to retain power in the north at all cost will eventually backfire as there will be some very serious violent consequences which may trigger the much talked about balkanization of Nigeria !

Southern politicians and voters have to be wary of this promoter of northern supremacist called Tambuwal. He backstabbed Tinubu in 2015, after prevailing on Wammako to give him Huber ticket. Wike gave him N500M, worked for him in 2019 now he backstabbed him

There's nothing like backstabbing jare. Gbajabiamila and ACN reps ganged up against their fellow southerner, Hon. Mulikat Adeola in 2011 from becoming the Speaker of the House of Rep. They supported Tambuwal against their 'own'.

Back to Wike issue. Wike is not diplomatic at all. He has ongoing rancours with many southern PDP bigwigs; he talks anyhow, insults people on national TV. It amazes me how you expected those people not to teach him lesson. He didn't even spare northern aspirants in his insults. Even in Rivers State, he behaves like a dictator. He was even the one behind the removal of Uche Secondus.
BTW, those supporting Wike to emerge as PDP's candidate are mostly APC members, 'cause any candidate APC produces will beat Wike blue-black. The only practicable way of PDP staging a comeback is having a northerner as their candidate, no hard feelings.

Why would Anyim step down for Wike? Isn't it a honourable thing for the PDP to zone presidency to the south east? Wike stood against anything south east and people are here shouting southern unity.

It has everything to do with Northern unity. The southerners involved are just the willing tools who will sell their souls for gain. If Wike was a Northerner, they would have closed their eyes to his eccentricities and the southern politicians would have, true to type, closed their eyes right along with them.
There is always that aversion for Wike's behaviour, but at the root of any reaction to it, is the Northern quest for control. You know that.
