Wisdom and foresight are expensive gifts that Nigerian politicians seem to lack. And it has always cost the nation dearly.
As it stands today, Nigeria is at a critical point in its existence that is worse than the pre-war 60s.

First, why are Northerners fighting for power after Buhari? Why?

Second, why did Northern elders intervene for Atiku during the PDP presidential primaries? Why? Is it the North's turn?

Third, why can't the North insist that power must go to the SE, and defend it.

You see, the North would lose a lot after the wind of Karma blows. We humans shouldn't play God, we are mere mortals. And God's will would eventually be done in Nigeria.

By fighting for power in 2023, northern politicians have killed zoning, and that is very dangerous to the core North. The middle belt are swing states, remember.

The failure of the North and their greed for power would be their greatest regret. Good luck to their politicians fighting for power after Buhari. They started it, and wouldn't be able to complain in future. Atiku's victory has set a bad precedent when it's the turn of the South.

If power doesn't go to the SE in 2023, then sorry for Nigeria.

Pls save this thread for the long future. Nigeria is pregnant.

I don't think so they are the simply has a cutting edge sword and play politics at its best. Southerners should learn from the north they are more coordinated when it comes to politics. The only exception is if majority of there politicians will fold there's arm and allow terrorism and banditry destroy there core values.

What is this Yoruba man writing.

I can spot Yoruba writing from a million miles away.

Igbos are saying if the presidency is not going to the SE, then it had better go to the NE.

We Igbos are quite alright with a NE president, so stop forming Igbo. We know you are not one of us

Don't mind that guy. He's definitely a Yoruba man. They are extremely cunning. Trying to write as an Igbo by making it seem as though it is Igbos that are complaining about Atiku's emergence. They just want to stylishly get Igbo involved in sorting out the mess they placed the south in.

If the presidency is not going to the SE in 2023, let it go to the NE

All of a sudden you have now remembered it is SE turn.

We started shouting this about 3 years ago, telling you all that if power is not going SE as was done for yorubas in 1999 then the north can as well keep it forever and they surely will be happy to keep it.

When everybody is ready for proper zoning based on equity, then we the Easterners will open our ears and listen to you. Till then, let the people (NORTH) whom even yorubas agreed are the majority in 2015 continue to keep power till everyone grows a brain down south.

Why are these people sounding like being against the SW is a new game? You have been doing it since the days of Zik and Awolowo, nobody is really surprised you would vote for Atiku,

You people are always emotional and unintelligent in most of your political dealings.
As far as PDP is concerned, out of 16yrs of PDP rule South had 14 of 16 while North had 2 of 16. South was supposed to allow Northerner to continue in 2011 after Yaradu's death but GEJ insisted on continuing and North allowed him and agreed that he won't contest in 2015.
In 2015, Jonathan broke the PDP gentleman agreement of zoning which gave birth to APC.
I'm very much upbeat that APC will respect the agreement of zoning and a Southerner will pick the ticket.
This emotional ranting doesn't make sense, if South truly wants to power in 2023 they should rally behind any APC candidate by eschewing division and make sure he wins the election just like how North did peacefully in 2015.
Trying to always bring ethno-religious bigotry by involving the so called middlebelt who aren't from your region is a big suicide and a clear ignorance of the word middlebelt. Just because there are Christians in the middlebelt then u always use them as reference, I know you are not referring to ethnicity but purely religion because there are more than 200 ethnic groups in the North. Have u ever seen a Northerner attributing religious inclination to the SW for being averagely Muslim majority?
Stop this ethno-religious blunder across regions because it will attract very little sympathy and attention.
States of Nigeria which are generally referred to as belonging to the Middle Belt are: old Plateau (now Plateau and Nasarawa), old Gongola (now Adamawa and Taraba), Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, the Federal Capital Territory, alongside Southern Kaduna, Southern Bauchi, Southern Kebbi, Southern Gombe, Southern Yobe State.

Calm down, ponder well and you will agree with me that Southern problem doesn't have anything to do with North. Where is the pretentious Southern Unity which Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu was canvassing under Southern Governors forum?

Where is the Southern Unity when Pius Anyim got 14 votes in the primary election when the whole SE have more than 100 votes?
