Go through the book evenly and lap up the nuggets stored in them like a Savage beast.
...don't go around bringing into play all of the powers at the same time but deviously master them one after the other. Play around one before progressing to the other. Overtime, you'd wear the powers like a second skin but there's a catch here. Like said above, try apply them one after the other. But they're generally more applicable in political space or if you are a hardcore career person who wants to become CEO starting from graduate trainee. One notable personality is Tony Elumelu.
A second book from same author "Art of Seduction" is more applicable to everyday life (beyond romantic relationships), you could apply that one and see how you can always be the most likeable and respected personality in every room or gathering.
