It's called Herpes labialis, caused by HSV 1 virus, it has no cure. It usually lasts about 10-14 days before it clears up on its own. It reoccurs about once or twice yearly for the rest of your life..
You can take Acyclovir tbs b/d to shorten the healing time by a maximum of about 24 hours(which is almost of no difference)..
If you were in my city, I would have given you the drugs free of charge from our hospital..
