what lesson did you learn frm Aderemison ? I guess many wil say nothing, because nothing special abt dat interview, but he got the visa. Good news, congrat Aderemison. However, i want u 2 take God 4 favouring u because is not abt ur documents or wisdom but his favour. So what i gain in dat interview is dat God alway favour His own. Nairalander and those waiting 4 interview should pray 4 God favour even if u ve PHD, 20 YEAR working, amongst others.

HND, BSC etc come wit d cert, if u are in school, go wit school ID $ any other things 2 proof dat. Infact. D document u go wit depent on ur status both present and past, education qualification. Any document u think could help even if is u contract letter fron Nigeria employer. Wish u favour in ur interview.

Adexkem, U are right. the minimum requirement is WAEC OR NECO with at least 5 credit passes including MATH and ENGLISH ( U CAN COMBINE RESULTS). someone too can Qualify Through WORK EXPERIENCE in work that requires at least two years training.

But the Conclusion of the whole matter is IT IS NOT BY POWER OR BY MIGHT BUT BY THE MERCIES OF THE LIVING GOD.

Stil on it oooo infact i just want to imagine i never applied for the stuff cos it could kill one tru thinking or result to depression. Done second interview and awaiting response from them though am out of the country now but they said if they dont get tru my mobile,they would mail me. so fingers crossed!

Here is my question, if u play(visa lottery) and u didn't win in that very year, does that mean that subsequent attempt will mean the same thing? What i mean is that once u fail, u will always fail, is that how this thing work?

VISA. you will submit ur Intl Passport and you be given the date to comeback and pick up ur intl Passport that has VISA in it

Its very important that you go with your credentials (both originals & photocopies)

What i mean is dat my OND Cert is nt ready bt i my transcript and my O'level cert is nt ready too bt i was told to go wt a scratch card, what abt dat?

@deji were ve u being all this day 4 ur certificate pls go with orginal cert going with statement of result is big lssue 4get about Ur ond d major result they need is ur GCE or SSCE but d problem is dat their is lady at d embassy if u fall in hand dis lady my friend u re on ur own cos dis lady denial a guy wit statement of result d best 4 u is to get ur orginal cert i wish u best luck.

Its true deji,where av you been all these while? the instruction states that you should start preparing your docs even before you got ur second NL from KCC.
The embassy love people that wont stress them. moreover,they are looking for every little mistakes from people cos the visa allocation for 6000 nigerians is less 3500.
@ade, you cant say he should forget about the OND cert. What if he filled it in the form he sent to KCC? As for the lady you mentioned, she is the one handling my case and i can as well feel the heat cos people in my situation have been answered but she has not answered me. Is she God? NO! so prayer can break anything. I am still praying for God's favor and i know God will see me tru.

Back to Deji,
We have been chating online for about two months now and i wonder what took you so long to get those docs ready esp your WAEC certs.Please please please go with all the documents you declared in your second letter to KCC. I mean all the WAEC,GCE,OND etc. its not the OC that will collect the document from you but some nigerians. They will not collect everything from you but ask for the document they want from you. Get the WAEC and GCE print outs with their scratchcards attached the each. please,if you are reading my text now, send a mail to lagos consulate and tell them your WAEC and OND certs arent ready but you have the printouts. Ask if that is acceptable. Once their response favors you, printout the reply from lagos consulate as evidence. But once their reply doesnt favors you, reschedule your interview. Maybe many weeks from now when you are sure of the the original certs. please note that you can only postpone interview once and after if you now missed the rescheduled interview,you missed the visa be that ooooo. So think twice before fixing a date.

Our interview experience was a long one. The background is dat i registered as single in 2010, presently i have a wife and a baby. Our interview started on 2nd February, 2012:

We were called to window 13:

CO: Hello Gudmorning

Me: I told him my name
CO: What is the name of your daughter?
Me: I told him.
CO: Whr do u work

Me: I told him whr i work and my position and also narrated what i do.

Me; Foundation design
CO: Why Foundation design?
Me: I explain to him and also related it to my final project, which is Design & construction of Pile Foundation in a water lodged area

Me: I told him, actually we did our traditional marriage wen my wife was pregnant, and the white wedding after given birth

We; We were depressed,but we told him yes.
then he gave us a letter denying us, but to come back for a second interview on 1st March, 2012 and to come along wt the documents wt came with for the first interview.

It was a black man dat attended to us in his office. I was called first

Me: I told him a very long story. how we met, wen & whr i proposed, how she took in, our traditional marriage, child birth, child dedication, then our white wedding and till date.

Me; I told him everything, how my wife was transfered from one hospital to the FMC
CO: Whr u with ur wife at the labour room?

Me: With a smile, i said they dnt allow it, but i wasnt far from the labour room, so smtimes i heard her crying
CO: How many sibling does ur wife has?
Me: i told him
CO: whr ar her parent?
Me: Her father is late as well, her mum is in lag
CO: Whr did u but ur ring?

CO; Bring it let me see, how much?
Me. I removed it and gave it to him, also told him the amount

Me: I gave them to him, he asked many questions too on the picture. i.e. who is dis? how is he/she to u? etc.

I spent about 30mins
He then called my wife in.

After about 20mins he came out with my wife and told us that they'll contact us from the Visa Section soon.

On Friday, 9th, we were called to drop our passports. God is great.

LESSON: Always try and be urself wen u're with dem, dnt frame any lies because they'll find out. be free with them and let them see that confidence in u, let them knw that ur life doesnt depends on it. then they'll respect u. I was convinced that they actually conducted some search on my relationship.

Guys,I went tru same process Obasekola went tru and its true that they are looking for mistakes or lies from you. Always feel free when you are interviewed. At first i was scared but later summoned courage and faced the lady that interviewed me. am stil outside Nigeria and i have a success story to tell but that would be by march ending. keep you posted.
