Don't just rush to comment. Read the news. Those two pleaded guilty that's why the judgment came early. They also entered into a plea bargain with the NDLEA to serve as witnesses against Abba Kyari and his men...I think that's why the punishment is less severe. Abba Kyari pleaded not guilty, his trial never even start.

I don't understand because the normal procedure in military which i believe is also applicable to Police and other para-military agencies is that the accused person will first face orderly room trial or panel and if found guilty will be dismissed and handed over for prosecution.

In the case of Abakyari nothing like such took place except written suspension from Police high command instead of PSC.
