Delegate Bribery As Atiku's Political Legacy. by Nobody: 8:19am On Jun 16, 2022
It was at the 2019 PDP presidential primaries in Port Harcourt, that Atiku formally introduced bribery into our delegate electoral system. At that time, he bribed delegates with $10,000 each to win that primaries to the surprise of Wike, Fayose and others.

Before 2019 Atiku, there wasnt any record of delegate bribery during OBJ, Yaradua and Jonathan's tenures.

But more worrisome is the fact that people then, didn't see the risk of Atiku's action for the future of elections in Nigeria.

Fast forward to 2023, delegate bribery has taken roots not only for Presidential primaries but governorship, legislative and others. Thanks to Atiku Abubakar.

Obasanjo was correct in his book about his position on Atiku. The man is a crook of unimaginable proportions and is capable of destroying systems and institutions just to have his way. In any sane country, he would have been in an underground jail since long ago. His role in the destruction on Nitel, Nigeria Airways, etc is in the public domain. Atiku wouldn't escape God's justice for messing Nigeria's delegate system. Useless man.

Let it be remembered tgat Atiku started delegate bribery with dollars in Nigeria. Pls spread the word.

The country is where it is today because of the corrupt tendencies of our past and present leaders.
If someone bribes the electorate with billions to vote for him, of course he will steal from the treasury to recover his money.
Untill we root out these thieves from our political system, we might not make any meaningful progress as a people.
