so i tried setting up 2 factor authentication on my google account..an it keeps saying invalid number.. even when you change the country to the US for exmaple. it still says, invalid number.. now I have heard that Nigerians are not allowed to activate 2 factor authentication on their account.. butI have another google account that has 2 factor authentication fully running.. I also have a friend can activate the same on his account.. what could be the problem or is it being selective?

Because those numbers are attached with other Gmail account |

DaviesCool: This is not true.. the number isnt registered with anything..I have even tried my grand mother's mothe rwhom I know her no. isnt linked to any mail what so ever..it still keep popping the invalid number response |
