I started watching football in USA94. The memories from USA94, eventhough i was only a child back then watching the games on a neighbor's black and white TV, is still pretty much interesting to me to this day. 2 Likes |

joviegghead: It's funny how mostly Africans have little to no knowledge of china. China is the most stingy Nation on earth, they are not benevolent in any way. The major money they have only donated was during the COVID to WHO and that was purely propaganda because they knew they caught them out on the origin and they messed up in covering their tracks. All the institution and bodies where set up to unite and help nations across the globe, china's focus is to corrupt officials of international bodies and use the bodies as influence or political tools. You might want to scream yeah but the west does it, nah far from it. Because all the international bodies was founded and set up by them, china and Russia could easily form their own and test their own credibility but they can't. Also china isn't classified as a football nation, it's the reason why you see some countries with no money have hosted it because they have earned it. Lastly hosting world cup is a very very expensive project because of its capital intensive nature. Look at Qatar for example, 60% of the built stadiums will be rendered waste after the world cup. It's part of the reason why Qatar started using itself as a defacto nation for nations playing qualifiers all through the pandemic. Meaning nations under lock down played their home games in Qatar, every asian champions league and AFC games since the pandemic were hosted in Qatar. 3 Likes |
