State police must be implemented that's how they do it in other countries of the world not federal government police over there even each government has its own internal police with no interference from the federal authority
Re: Akeredolu, Malami Clash Over Restructuring by Oyiboman69: 7:29am On Jun 17, 2022
of them are right to some extent...the governors in it's arrogated powers is controlling the local government and the federal government on the other hand, with the judge allocation in their disposal, has fail to protect lives and property which is their primary duty to nepotism, bigotry and profligacy which ensures the unbearable condition of the common man...
all I can say is that Nigeria is too big for black men to rule.

Guy calm down and read to understand.

He actually said the AMOTEKUN is working but they want to discredit it by attacking it's state

Eriokanmi:
Amotekun isn't doing anything ? You must be joking. I've seen loads of ammunition intercepted by these people you said aren't doing anything. Google is your friend. These were meant for use on our people down south. Prior to the owo attack, there was an intelligence report from same Amotekun that fulanis were going to attack but the government downplayed it because their primary election was coming. Usually, aketi wouid have shouted as usual and ordered all the amotekun amd security personnel to be on alert. Instead, they were busy planning on how to elect Tinubu at the primaries....what a selfish move.

Our politicians are evil. Please let's join hands to send them packing . Enough of seeing white and be calling it red. Vote obi for a better Nigeria. Go get your pvc now in case you dont have one already!

all these nonsense na for selfish interest.
you can't have public interest on mind and support Tinubu.

we won't be deceived
the youths are coming

they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual old tribalism and tribal card tactics.

But we'll remind them that tribalism won't bring back dollars to at least 400
tribalism won't bring back fuel to 95 naira
tribalism won't send our undergraduates back to school.
tribalism won't fix our security.
tribalism won't develop our economy.

since suffering knows no tribe or religion, since we're suffering together irrespective of our tribe and religion, it's also fair if we get it right together by sending thieves and those who thinks they can rape Nigeria TURN by TURN.
Enough is Enough!!!

2023 will be the youths vs the criminals
it won't be business as usual.

Ipigs don't worry his coming to support ur biafra president
Re: Akeredolu, Malami Clash Over Restructuring by Oliveronline: 7:35am On Jun 17, 2022
The governors should first make the local government system independent with the judiciary and legislature under them before asking for restructuring. They are the ones holding the nation back from being restructured. You can't be asking for restructuring while holding the local government, state judiciary and legislature ransom.

Now the question is, can Tinubu restructure Nigeria like Akeredolu is asking for if he emerges winner of 2023 Presidential polls?

Let the best win.

If I were Nigerians, I would elect Peter Obi and Labour Party to become President in 2023, so that it will be easy to impeach him if he fails to deliver on his campaign promises since Labour Party doesn't have much representation at the upper and lower house of assembly.

Nigerians can't control someone like Tinubu or Atiku if they decide to follow Buhari's evil path.

Nigerian youths, use your wisdom. Nigeria is the only country most of you have, the rich, the politicians you are standing on their wicked mandate and their families all have second and third countries citizenship to depend on after Nigeria is destroyed.

More harm to dying Nigeria that Buhari destroyed will lead to final internment of the country called Nigeria. Wake up youths. Vote without tribal sentiment

Common joor.

All these recently released monikers.

What's your original moniker, let's see something.

it's very sad seeing people treating politics like a competition that one group must win irrespective of the consequences.
Nigeria politicians have made us think that election is an inter tribe/religion competition but at the end of the day when the suffering that comes with electing crooks comes, it selects no religion or tribe.
Today all tribes are suffering from insecurity. no place is safe in Nigeria and no tribe is safe.
today the hardship is being suffered by all tribes and religion.
today all Nigerian University are grounded no tribe left out or religion.

So why can't we rubbish these tribalism and elect competent hands since the effects will be enjoyed by all too.
time to ask ourselves this critical question.
these old crooks have been playing this game for ages and it has been working for them.
time to put a stop to it.
enough is enough.
a new political order must rise or else criminal politicians will sink us.
God bless us all.

Though he's grossly incompetent, Malami was correct to some extent. Most Governor will turn to mini emperor if giving more power, they are against financial autonomy for the state legislature and judiciary, and have also rendered LG council useless, yet they crave for more.

If Fulani herdsmen can carry AK 47, ordinary citizen should carry arms too in self defense.

Malami should stop arguing with elders who know better than him.

But why have governors decided to kill local government authority? It is part of the reasons Nigerians are suffering misgovernance.

Because local government chairmen have proven to be thieves and wolves over the years and contributed in halting the development of states, so they should go and sit down

Lol You are asking if a major proponent of restructuring will do it.

Perhaps some of you are "awon omo 2000", who did not witness Tinubu's pro-democracy activities.

I beg to disagree. If state INECs conduct a free and fair election without governors influencing it, even small parties with win local government elections and the citizens will be better served. A situation where a governor conducts local government elections and his party wins 100% is not acceptable. The governors have stunted the growth of democracy in Nigeria over the years.

You are right...

Local Government Chairmen, especially the ones in Opposition can frustrate the plans of a Sitting Governor..

Funds are given to them with little or nothing to show for it.

The corruption in that level of government is very rife..
