Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Biodun Oyebanji, has been declared winner of the Ekiti governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. The Returning Officer of the Ekiti Governorship Election, Adeniran Tella, announced the result on Sunday morning at the INEC office in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti capital city. The former Chief of Staff polled a total of 187, 057 votes to defeat his closest rival, Segun Oni of Social Democratic Party (SDP) who bagged 82, 211 votes to emerge 2nd while Bisi Kolawole of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), came a distant third with 67, 457 votes. https://www.thequesttimes.com/breaking-fayemis-anointed-candidate-oyebanji-wins-ekiti-governorship-election/
