My friend and his wife contacted me to advice them what type of house they should buy in Lagos. I just told them to give me some days to make my findings but actually i don't even know the best advice to tell them. They reside in Manchester UK and they are confused if they should go for a Duplex or Block of Flats or Bungalow. They only visit Nigeria like twice a year though their kids ha never been to Nigeria before.

Please i need your advice so i can explain to him the type of a house he should go for before he make a mistake.

Yes.. but not an issue if he does not buy in a poor neighborhood.

It's also risky living all alone in a compound. Also not good to leave the house vacant for a long time.

Estate is his best option.

Bungalow is OK. Contemporary Bungalow. Unless his family size is big. After the house will just be for visit isn't it?
