Catal Huyuk was a very large Neolithic and Chalcolithic city settlement in southern Anatolia (in current day Turkey), which existed from approximately 7500 BC to 6400 BC, and flourished around 7000 BC.

Catal Huyuk had no roads, so dwellings were accessed via hatches or trap doors in the roofs of the buildings, which were in turn entered via ladders.

It is the largest and most well preserved Neolithic site found to date. The population was about 6,000 and the food they ate was mainly wheat, barely and rice. No trace of a central government has ever been found at Catal Huyuk.

Na there your mind first go...

One thing about ancient cities is that their social values and norms, religion and traditions are so strong such that social vices are highly reduced.

True. Crimes and vices were low way back those times.

Imagine having a crib like those houses now. One way in, one way out. Makes the job easier.

It's the most well preserved which means it's still out there and you couldn't get a pic?

This poses one of the highest security risks, except the settlement was a crime free one.
