Here's somethings you should know.

1. you're your own boss
You are responsible for your own success and failure. You bring to the table what you want, not what someone else dictates to you. You get to choose the kind of client you want, and which days you want to work. You are responsible for your success.

2. Risk management: For your business to move forward, you're solely responsible for all the risk involve in your business in terms of health, and insurances.

3. You're the boss, and the staff at the same time. You handle all the processes by yourself. Especially as a beginner, you will have lot to take on from getting clients, monitoring payment and delivery the work etc.

4. Loneliness and Burdensome. As a beginner working solo, it can be lonely especially when you have a deadline to meet and no one else to support you. Be ready to pull through that early stage of your freelancing journey. That's why getting yourself a mentor is an added advantage. Your mentor will help you to push forward when you feel tired. Hold your hands as you work.
