The verdict of the Supreme Court approving the use of hijab in public schools is final

The State Government should caution its officials against harassing Muslim females wearing hijab, henceforth assault or harassment of female students should be criminalised.
Supreme Court has ruled.
And that is the final.

Nobody is saying NIgeria is to become an islamic country. But NIgeria has muslim citizens too whose rights deserve protection. If you feel as a Christian certain aspects of your right is being violated you can approach the court and let's see if your case wouldn't be looked into.

Inasmuch as Ansarudeen primary and secondary schools all over the federation is not forcing its Christian students and staffs to wear hijabs so should Christian inclined public schools should never force Muslim students to drop hijabs.
It's barbaric and uncalled for the way Christian get scared of everything Islam. Shouting islamization everywhere and no tangible Islamic agenda have been put in place since Nigeria existence.
In Nigeria the major ways of doing official duties etc are largely Christian inclined. We inherited them from our colonial oppressors who brought Christianity as ruse of gaining trust.
So what's the heck about, that Christians keep cowering about like chicken without head?
The north has the largest Muslims in the entire west Africa and if some of their local laws tend to Islamic way being that Islamic got to them first why the fuse?
Today south east is largely Christian and Christianized.
No notable leaders of Christian faith anywhere in this nation has Muslim spouse. But known leaders of Muslim extraction with Christians spouse existed with their children often practicing the faith of the mothers . Eg Tinubu, Fashola, Atiku, Ahmed Musa to name but few. Infact Muslims are very tolerating and accommodating of christians than Christians do Muslims.
They should know Muslim is larger than Christians here and no amount of intimidation or emotional or psychological blackmails can stop the adherents to practice their faith.

Yoruba christians ntoooooo.. that's what your leader tiefnubu who brought his fellow islamist brother from the futa jalon to power has done to una. The islamist make sure he appointed a CJN who is a fellow islamist knowing that issues like this will come. You people were happy when ogeneghnen, the Christian CJN was unceremoniously removed and replaced by this one.

Will ur type like Deborah and Co be sensible enough to stop poking stake in an anthill?
Look at the rate u Christians usually invade any Islamic post on nairaland every Friday.
Can you ever see any Muslim invading Christian posts here on Sundays? This is a small case study of how Christians usually go about stirring the hornet's nest and later crying foul.
Half of the killing going on in the north are even perpetuated by Christians to defamed Islam. All they need do is to shout Allah is great.

It was almost certainly all planned.

All Muslims must do jihad.
This is their contribution to jihad.

Create a crisis
Play the victim
Go to a court
Until it gets to the supreme court
Then get positive judgement
Arm-twist government

The technique is not new
It is used where they are not in majority.

They don't need to do this in the North West. They just create false alarms
To be violent on non-muslims (and sometimes fellow Muslims of different ethnicity)

Theirs nothing like moderate Muslim
Moderate Muslims are mostly sleepers
Waiting for signals to do jihad of any form.

Tinubu has done much Jihad in Lagos, non physically violent but subtle and widespread while Lagosians slept. Now he wants Muslim Muslim ticket.

Are all Muslims bad & evil!
Certainly not!

In all human groups there will always be the good, the bad and the ugly even among non Muslims.

But there's just too much trouble & violence associated with Muslims in many places even where they are minority.

Those who want Yoruba nation have this also to contend with among other obstacles.

Situation will get worse because we are in the end times. Increasingly attacks on Christians & other non Muslims will happen notably where Muslims are dominant.

We know this from Bible prophesies until Jesus comes to rescue us.

Nigeria will never become an Islamic country

This country is sandwiched between fanatical Christians and extremist Muslims.
If you watch Muslims closely, they have this trait of originality, so, Hijab isn't something new but the existing Islamic injunctions. Muslims bring out ideas from tradition, from their own scripture. Although detractors call us fundamentalists, that is exactly what religion is all about – I mean any religion worth its salt. Religious practices must come from the roots.
The propaganda of Islamization when the Nation was covertly Chritianised since the era of colonial masters.
For instance, what is the nature of the existing law courts: the magistrate, high court, appeal court and perhaps the Supreme Court? Who laid the foundation of those courts? Was it not the British colonialists? Were they British Muslims? But any time we have a Muslim President these baseless allegations resurfaces in Nigeria but it is clearly that British handed over Christians systems of Govt in Nigeria.

The common law being used presently is Christian law. You can check the records. Sir Mathew Hale said it. Baron Kenyon, Lord Chancellor, Lord Summers all said it. These experts in British common law from which Nigerian laws derived their legal inspiration affirmed that British law is based on Christian canon law. Justice (Adolphus) Karibi-White also tied the umbilical cord of Nigerian laws to the holy Bible.
Muslims won a court case concerning wearing of hijab (by pupils in public schools)? Some Christian fanatics went berserk. Some even desecrated church garments by wearing choir apparels to school. Why couldn’t they simply adopt their own veil? After all, hijab is a veil and the Bible instructs women to cover their heads, according to the Corinthians 4-12. That is one plus for Catholics. Their women use the veil and there are Catholic nursery and primary schools where the girls use veils that match their school uniform.

Focus on your studies, not all these religious rites.
Ogun worshippers too should be free to wear theirs, same as christians in Muslim schools too. Christians students should have thier union and fight for freedoms in Muslim schools too, same as traditional ogun and ifa worshippers. There must be equal rights across board. This world will end a circular world, and Nigeria will continue as a free circular country, till the end of the world. But everyone must be free to wear their religious headgears, garments everywhere, even egungun. Everyone must form associations, we need more court cases.

Stop throwing the tantrums, it doesn't called for that, argue reasonably with your thumbs. I've just sited biblical verses for you.
Christian has killed more in history, more than any other religions. Go and read about Crusade.[/quote

Wrong...
Christians do not kill. This was old testament before the coming of jesus. The Jews and pharisees. Or was there any place jesus kill anyone with sword?

As for ur other quote in matt. If only you will understand the sword he meant. It's not the physical but the spiritual sword.

Can u report a witch or wizard disturbing u to the police or any authority in the world? But u can surely report through that sword which is the word of God.

Continue with the reading of that matt. I've come to send sword into the world.

Division among father nd son, mother in law and daughter in law. Nd a man's enemy shall be a member of his own household. If a child is light and parent darkness, there most be division.

Get it right nd dont quote it wrong. After buying here on earth, we will surely return our borrowed breath.

Okay. I'm Christian and I'll try to be unbaised. Firstly, religion is a choice. Whatever is a choice will not be universally acceptable and as such should be subject to conditions. If private schools and christian schools prohibits hijab, then no one can force them to accept it. That is their own condition for attending the school. Let the hijabi Muslims attend an islamic school or a public school. Now even public schools should have rules guiding those who wants to wear hijab. The hijab should not cross the shoulder length for security and disciplinary reasons. A lot could be going on under floor length hijab. The one covering the face should be prohibited completely. Home school your daughter or put her in a school that will tolerate the lack of identity. My 2 cents.

Be it old or New testament Jesus has not come to abolish any law

Mathew 5: 17
New International Version
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Whether Physical or Spiritual sword, is setting son against Father sounds normal?
"Not PEACE but Sword"
What's an antonym of peace?

Well, that is by your perception and because you don't have the opportunity to know me. I can't harm an animal let alone a human being, but that doesn't mean if i perceive attack i cant or shouldn't defend myself. I also challenge you to check all my comments on this forum and point out how it portrays extremism. Allah ordained us not to insult others' God lest they would insult our God in return and the sin would be upon us, with this mindset why would i embark on extremism. I have Christian siblings, would i ever wish them evil? But you should know that Muslims dont compromise on their religious beliefs, this hijab issue doesn't in anyway affect Christians if hatred is not involved so why are you miffed?
