same thing happened to me about a year ago when I decided to try etisalat BIS. I simply broke of the sim and threw it away to before i could have rest of mind. There was this time I wanted to make international call and I totally forgot about the auto renewal nonsense, naso dem take commot my last card o that time

Babalegba: Subscribing to etisalat 10mb a day plan should be totally avoided. I subscribed to the plan for one day last week after the free 15mb ran out and since then they have been subscribing me to the plan every day even though i phoned customer services and also used *229*0# to unsubscribe,they are so devious that they always deduct first from the free 15mb and deduct from the paid for 10mb only after the free one is finished. Such thieving ways would have resulted in right arm amputation in their homeland .You have been warned, dont even think of their 10mb daily plan.I am now afraid to recharge my phone.

But however the case may be, if it is not a way of defrauding people, they should have make it public. Atleast where anybody can opt out without any problem, like MTN and others. If not this imformation here, i would have threw their sim card away ever before now, sinse i have also fell into the same predicament

It has happened to me like 1,000,000 time. I usually send them a mail - care@etisalat.com.ng - to assist me in opting out of the daily plan. You should do the same.
