Your system (OS) may have be loaded with MBR file format instead of UEFI (which your system originally support)
so whenever your system shuts down unexpectedly, it will fail to boot
If you are an advance user, you might want to head to bios settings and locate boot option and turn off secure boot, and be sure legacy support is selected.
After which you reboot your system.
You may be prompt that your operating system settings have changed and you should enter a certain number and press enter

I lost my files twice to this same issue. Turns out the issue was from the HDD.

either your OS has been corrupted or your hard drive has crashed or shifted out of place. First check if your hard drive is in place, if yes, then Get a new Windows and try reinstalling it.

It means that thet system is not seeing/reading the hard disk,off the system then remove the HD ,and then on it without the HD, off and insact HD back and on the systhem to detect HD

Try reloading ur hdd or ssd if e no load change ur hdd or ssd

This is a problem associated with Legacy Support

Boot your system and press F10 to bios go to system configuration Enable Legacy support and save

You would be prompted to enter some numbers and enter boom it is done.

It works perfectly

My pc fell few weeks ago while using it. After using it, I hybernated it. The next day I turn it on and I got the same message. After try different approaches, I remembered it fell. I just turned it upside down and gave it a warm spanking. My brother, it worked fine after that and it's been fine since then.

I also have that same issue... When my system shut down. I guess the OS though my battery is also among the problem. I do go back to enable legacy support.

The problem was clearly stated In the message displayed on your screen.It says install operating system.
Your windows or Mac OS is your operating system. It's located on your PC hard drive.
You said it just shut down and showed that message,that is not true,unless you deleted your C: drive.
Solution:
1. Remove your hard drive and re- insert it
2. If it still the same,then re-install windows on your PC.

I face same issue with my system

The truth is that, RAM is not part of the options. The problem there is that of the operating system which is as a result of corrupt file or the hard disk not found. If your RAM is faulty, it won't even display anything on the screen and you'll here few short beep.

I have exactly same problem since last week. I have tried to follow all those processes listed to no available.. Same HP. I have been wondering what to he problem is. Now I know that I'm not alone in this.

Computers have different versions, I don't understand your page, it is different from mine.
But if after clicking boot option and Enter, if this is the next page for Legacy Support you see, then click it then Enter.
Follow line by line, if you miss any line, you won't get the results.
