RITUAL KILLING: A middle aged man whose name was given as Volt Blessing Gabriel has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for cutting off the head of his 1-year-8-months-old son.

The unfortunate incident occured on Friday morning, at Peanuts junction, Obeh in Edo State.

According to the Police in Delta State, the suspect confessed to killing the after a man appeared to him in his dream and asked him to run the child’s blood on his head in order become rich.

The alleged murderer was said to have used a hand saw to chop off the poor baby’s head.

The police said it was the mother of the child, one Mrs Success Oduwa, who raised the alarm on Saturday, 25th of June, after discovering that she has not seen their child since the morning of Friday, 24th of June.

In a statement released by DSP Bright Edafe, the police public relations officer of Delta State, the mother of the child started troubling the husband as to the whereabout of the child.

In response, the husband told her that the child was with his sister in Warri. On getting to Warri, she stated that she discovered the husband was lying to her, hence her suspicion.

This made her to report the case to the Commander, Quick Response Squad.
