The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has set out a motion that prosecutes landlords on account that they lease or rent out apartments to internet fraudsters commonly known as Yahoo Boys.

The EFCC stated that homeowners found guilty of housing Yahoo Boys would spend 15 years in prison.

The anti-graft agency made this known via its official Instagram page while calling on members of the public to attend a town hall meeting themed; “Landlord: Give Your House to Yahoo Boys, Spend 15 Years in Jail” to hold on June 29, 2022.

They wrote; ”Okay now! What a juicy topic! E go sweet wella! Landlord way yahoo-boy dey stay for his house, my people, na 15 years imprisonment for the landlord o! E don set!

”The #EFCC is pleased to invite the general public to the tenth edition of #EFCCConnect an open forum with members of the public as we discuss, “Landlord: Give Your House to Yahoo Boys, Spend 15 Years in Jail”.

What if the landlord is ignorant of the incriminating status of the Yahoo tenant? It doesn't make sense!

EFCC dont make laws and can only get people scared because Nigeria is a lawless and govern by criminals.

I don't support landlord housing criminals let alone yahoo boys...but let it be known that EFCC has no right to judge u even after having arrested u.

Meaning: it is left for the court to decide.

This,they do to scare Uneducated people in Nigeria.
