The controversy over falsification of academic records of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is still raging.

Tinubu in a sworn affidavit to INEC that was leaked to media could not provide certificates to back up his academic records.

To douse the scandal, Tinubu’s camp released a document from his alma mater in USA , Chicago State University that he graduated.

However media aide to former Governor Ayodele Peter Fayose of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka has reacted to the confirmation that he attended Chicago University between 1977 and 1979.

He’s mocking Tinubu for failing to back his claim that he attended Government College, Ibadan GCI located in Nigeria for secondary education.

Tinubu has been unable to provide his primary and his secondary schools qualifications especially in the credentials sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Our laws require at least a secondary school, which invariably makes it more important than a decree certificate.Therefore,we want his secondary school certificate to prove he passed a secondary school.

Did Tinubu clam he attended GCI in his 2022 form? The 1999 form being referred to was even filled by Afikuyomi which was in contrast with the one he filled by himself in 1992.Tinubu had his formative years in USA and WASC/WAEC isn't an admission requirement. Which Nigerian law require him to submit a WAEC result when he holds a higher B.Sc certificate? Does Lere Olayinka think Tinubu would have obtained his CPA certification without a genuine BSc? He should rather channel his efforts towards defending the inconsistency in the name on the certificate of his principal - From Oluyose to Fayose

Not true. Fayose wants power to return to the South. That's why he's seemingly involved in antiparty activities.

However, if anyone should argue that power should return to the South, the most logical thing is that it should be South East or South2.

No, it shouldn't be South West that ushered in our nascent democracy in 1999 and has also enjoyed VP position in Yemi Osinbajo for two uninterrupted tenures.
