TOPIC: Understanding – A Necessity For An Outstanding Life (Seeds Of Destiny 2 July 2022)

SCRIPTURE: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today MESSAGE:

Understanding, otherwise known as revelation, is a vital necessity in the journey of life and destiny. It is important to understand the reason why we do the things we do. For example, it is necessary to know why we must pray, give and reach out to souls for God.

Now, why is it necessary to understand the reasons behind the things we do?

Every undertaking is outstanding with understanding.
Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding. The more we understand the things we do, the more outstanding we become in those things.


This also means that ignorance is the reason for lack of action. Where there is lack of understanding, there is inaction or lack of motion.

Nothing produces or generates impact like insight.
Impact in life or in anything we do is a product of insight or understanding. For example, the difference between a road-side mechanic and a trained industrial mechanical engineer is insight. Also, the difference between a theatre attendant and a consultant plastic surgeon is insight.
In the same way, the difference between those who produce maximum results in the Kingdom of God and those who produce minimal results is insight or understanding.

Lack of understanding is the reason for living an “impactless” life.



Beloved, today, I pray that the eyes of your understanding be opened unto mysteries that make for impactful and outstanding existence in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Every undertaking in life becomes outstanding with understanding.

ASSIGNMENTS:

Ask God to give you understanding before embarking on any course of action or endeavour.
Do not embark on any venture without proper understanding or revelation.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to see what I need to see, open my ears to hear what I need to hear, and open my mind and spirit to know what I need to know, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
