Innocent Onyebuchi, a Nigerian veteran musician, is known as "Daddy Fresh". He says that his new song, "Erora", seeks to address societal concerns and make a significant impact in Nigeria.


Daddy Fresh spoke out in an interview on Saturday with the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN), in Lagos. He stated that Nigeria needs to redefine integrity and humanity.


He said that Erora was a result of the bad things that have been happening in Nigeria. There are many things going on, including high inflation, corruption and killings, kidnappings, high living costs, strikes at schools, and so on.

"A lot of children are living on the streets due to the low standard of life and that the minimum wage is insufficient to make ends meet.


"The masses are those who are suffering. Everything is skyrocketing in fuel and gas prices today.


"The majority of the news stories you hear are very heartbreaking, and you should not listen to them."


"The governments don't make much effort to curb it. Today's youth, many of whom are graduates, do not have anything to do.




"You know exactly what they say: that evil communication corrupts good manners. The corrupt nature of society is making it worse for the good people.


According to him, he wrote a song in order to let leaders know that the masses are suffering.


"I am the voice of the suffering voiceless. We have to speak out. He stated that we must make the right choices when the election is over.


Daddy Fresh explained that the message in the song was intended to inform the public about current events in the country and ways it can be stabilized.


"This is very bad news for the country. Other crises are currently affecting the country, including religious, political, and tribal. How can we stop them?


"Some Nigerians find that even the middle of the night is a nightmare. They won't go to bed with their eyes closed. They are always worried about what might happen.


"They should listen to people and do the necessary so we can have a better world.


"It is time we face the facts and fix our country," he stated.


He advised Nigerians not to be afraid to voice their opinions as the 2023 general Elections near.


"My message for the people is to realize that their future will be determined by what they do now."
