The Russians just came out with the bombshell that NATO commanders, Intel officers and special forces embedded with Ukrainian Armed Forces that took refuge in the catacombs of the Avostal steel plant in Mariuopol were executed by Azov militia to avoid them being captured by Russian forces who had besieged the plant for over a month.

The question to ask is on whose orders were these high ranking NATO commanders, intelligence officers and special forces members executed on?

Is NATO so scared of having their highly placed commanders and special forces captured over a likely provocation with Russia or were they executed to prevent a major embarrassment to the political establishment that sent them to Ukraine?

The Russians found personal papers, passports and other identification documents and paraphernalia of NATO commanders in a make shift crematorium within the Avostal steel complex.

It was widely reported that a high ranking Canadian Lt General was within the complex alongside a US Navy 3 star General alongside CIA, MI6, Mossad and British SBS special forces members.

Were they killed to prevent a major escalation with Russia or to prevent such high ranking officers and prized assets fall into the hands of the Russians so as to avoid the embarrassment such a capture will raise?
