This is a stupid analysis! Nobody will complain if both governors and deputy governors of Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara etc are Muslims owing to the far higher populations of Muslims in the states. The same cannot be said of Kaduna, Gombe and Adamawa with significant Christian populations or Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue and Taraba where christians are majority. And it is only an idíot that wants thunder to fire him or her that will expect a Muslim to be governor or even deputy in Anambra, Imo, Crossriver or Enugu. About Yoruba states we all know how relatively indifferent yorubas are to issues bothering on repigion. Having a Muslim Muslim ticket in a major Northern Muslim state may not be an issue, what is of concern is peace and good governance.

Will you say this same story in the South East and South South with majority Christians and few Muslims. Why not ask their Governors to go for Christian Muslim tickets?

2. Are you aware that there are only two Muslim Deputy Gov. in the whole southern Nigeria.

3. In the North there are four Christian Governors out of 19 states.

4. Eight Christian deputy Governors out of 19 states.
