Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has ordered immediate demolition of Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as Odumeje Church located at Bida off Creek Road, Fegge–Onitsha.

The demolition exercise which began early hours of Thursday 7th July 2022 saw heavy duty Caterpillar moved to the Church building and pulled it down.

Recall that Gov Soludo through the Anambra State Physical Planning Board marked Odumeje building for demolition around February for obstructing free flow of water on the popularly Nwangene—Bida drainage.

Soludo who upon inauguration as 6th Executive Governor of Anambra State at the Government House, Agu-Awka, vowed to implement the Onitsha Metropolitan Urban Renewal Plan in his quest to building a livable and prosperous homeland for Ndi Anambra and SouthEast at large.
