The truth is that Jesus of Nazareth has been misrepresented a lot by all these misinformed churchgoers.
Of course prophets in Israel do make noise in their neighbourhood reminding the people what their God commanded, and it's reasonable because throughout the nation all of them agreed that the God who sent Moses is their rightful ruler so whenever a prophet is heard shouting it's like a town crier announcing the orders from a King.
But all that ended as the last Israelites prophet in line with the old covenant (John the baptist) introduces the mediator of the New Covenant (Jesus Christ) John 1:29-34

Now Jesus of Nazareth commissioned his own preaching not by noise making in the streets {Matthew 12:19} his own disciples must go and meet people in their homes as neighbours, greet in the local custom, introduce themselves, ask for permission to speak with the householder before delivering the message Jesus sent them! Matthew 10:11-13

But may ask WHY all these protocol when it's God's word that the preacher has brought?

Well it's because all the nations of the earth has their traditions, customs and deities so it's wrong telling people that your own God will deal with them when they had no business with your God. So as preachers with the message of the Good News of God's Kingdom Christians must respect their neighbours and not pollute the air with noise.
Moreover Satan is the ruler of this world {John 14:30; 2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 5:19} so they're to be cautious as serpents and innocent as doves {Matthew 10:6} they have no moral right to shout in the public.
But Satan can't make any law restricting people from visiting their neighbours so Jesus commissioned his own campaign with that arrangement.
The Christians will knock on your door just as your neighbours do, they will greet you just as your neighbours do, they will introduce themselves just as your NEW neighbours do before telling you what brought them.
Of course no right thinking person will feel hurt seeing his neighbour paying him a visit unless a sadist and Jesus has equipped us to know how to gladden the heart of sadists with friendly smiles!

I live in the US East Coast. You may not preach as such in the morning but you can preach in the parks, downtown and even in some neighborhood standing away from public property but with limited noise level . Here on the buses, there are laws written not to eat, drink, use your speaker phone or preach . That's quite understandable but that does not stop you from preaching. You give out Tracts too etc. I can show you live pictures of people this Sunday preaching outdoors. A lot is exaggerated about the US. Just taking a 24 yrs old relative down the street for a walk after just two days in the US, he was scared because he was told that they gonna shoot him because of he's black. I told him he will soon realized that the only set of people that can greet and smile at him are whites and not African Americans or Asians. That does not mean we can not be conscious of our community. You said psycho white as of there wasn't psycho black. It's just like saying if you traveled to KADUNA city, Boko Haram will kill you.

In Nigeria there is no law that prohibits anyone from preaching in public places. Not sure of that.

They should PREACH in Muslim Areas.
