Regarding the July 17, 2022, Punch newspaper front page article about APC defeat in Osun State [“Buhari responsible for Edo, Osun losses – APC chieftain] said John Majaki— an Edo State Chieftain of APC party blamed president Buhari for recent loses in Edo and Osun states because president Buhari abandoned the party as a leader, did nothing to unite aggrieved party members and could not take control of chaos in the party.

Bottom Line: President Buhari is selfish person and incompetent leader.
Look at how many Nigerians are killed and kidnapped every day, and Buhari does not show up for their funerals to express his own sympathy for the families of the dead ones. People who helped Buhari to get elected have been ignored. His own Vice President, Yemi Osinbayo was not endorsed by President Buhari during APC party primaries—leading to his defeat. That by itself was dishearten. He traveled abroad to get treated for small illness while millions of Nigerians are dying at home. What a shame!

Mohammed Buhari came into office of the Presidency with plenty of promises but delivered none. His highest education is six grades, according to Katsina state department of education in 2019 pre-election news conference. Education matters. Studies by Harvard University and United Stated department of education show that people who graduated from a four-year University are more likely to succeed than those who don’t graduate. That lack of education by President Buhari robbed him of the opportunities to hire talents into government to work to improve the problems Nigerians are facing today.
The reality is John Majaki does not want to acknowledge the fact on the ground. The fact on the ground is—APC party is not, when compared to PDP led government of 1999-2015 a better political party. It does not have the kind of organization structures that kept PDP in power for 16 years. The talents level in APC management today are bellowed average compared to what was under PDP. APC government fielded fake Universities graduates in high-ranking jobs. In addition, there are reports of total disregard for laws and order in President Buhari government. He hired incompetent cronies to run top government jobs not qualified for. And since APC led government came into power in 2015, over 1 million lives have been lost, 10 million Nigerians have been driven out of their homes—according to UN recent report, 5 million have sustained lifetime injuries, kidnapping of Nigerians has become reality in Nigeria. Inside Buhari government, chaos is the new normal in Nigeria. These never happened in 16 years of PDP run government. These are just the few realities on the ground that John Majaki should have acknowledged but left out in calling out President Buhari’s ineptness.

In 2023, Nigeria will have a wave election—an election in which PDP will win the presidency, Senate and the House of Representative. That will be a proof of how much Nigerians are dissatisfying with Mohammed Buhari government. So, stay tone!
