In Ikwerre language it is called abigim. It has close resemblance to catfish, but scaly. very rich in flesh

This fish is very popular in Bayelsa, it leaves in moudy water, not very difficult to catch children catch it every day around here, my boy caught a very big one yesterday, some call it breast fish, some mould fish or it's local name Ebieseni.

That's not an eel. The photo shows that they are different fishes. An eel is usually very long and slender; never fat and thick.
