Bandits Release Three Kaduna-Abuja Train Victims by ogododo: 4:48pm On Jul 25, 2022
Abductors of Kaduna-Abuja train victims have released three from the remaining 43 victims in their custody.

Bandits had on Sunday, flogged the 43 victims, threatened to Kidnap President Muhammad Buhari and Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The three victims are two males and a female, may have been among those who received serious beating on Sunday.

They were, however, released around 11am Monday morning, their relatives picked them up along the Kaduna-Abuja road

Although it was not immediately confirmed as at the time of filing this report if a ransom was paid, it was, however, learnt that 40 victims are still with kidnappers in the forest

DSP Mohammed Jalige, Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer did not pick his calls for confirmation

Heavy ransom must have been paid

I'm happy for their freedom, I don't just want to hear any lie from this failed government concerning their release

Released after payment of heavy ransom. One of the core mandate of a president is to protect it's citizens against internal and external aggression. Buhari has failed completely in this regard.
How he became a president still baffles me.

Praise Allah, our President is working hard to ensure security in the nation. Instead of complaining we should appreciate his good works.

Many people his age are retired but he decided to become president out of nothing but love for Nigeria.

Another #300 million. These guys are not your regular rag-tag bandits. These are terrorists. They have the resources to keep 63 people for 3 months without detection. Right now, government can't even fight them. They have carved out a republic for themselves.

After 4 months in captivity? Thank God for their release but we have a very useless government.

I'm still waiting to hear what APC want to campaign with after all the suffering, poverty and death they brought upon Nigerians
