THE LUKOGUN CALLS PROJECT
With the ever deteriorating state of our educational system and vis-à-vis the reading culture of Nigerians at large, we at MagicWand Publishing are to the revitalization of the nation via imbibing the long lost reading culture back into our nation's life style.
In our quest to achieving this goal, we began looking a little beyond just the readers but also at the authors. With several great works lying to waste due to author's inability to raise the required funds for publishing, we decided to give fifty (50) authors that lift they so earnestly crave. Lukogun Calls is an initiative calling on all authors irrespective of genre of work, religion, age and experience. With MagicWand publishing bearing all the cost associated with design, print and distribution, this is the paradise every author desires.
Current beneficiary of the project include: Hong: The Advent of Dawn, Kenya: The Lord of Dark Dreams and The Orchid Protocol.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA
* The work must be original and must be unpublished as a book.
* The project is currently open to only fiction or semi-fiction stories (novels).
* The work must be complete or can be completed in at most one (1) month after acceptance into the project.
* Authors must come to the event with two (2) printed (hard copy) chapters of their work only.
* Each work must have on it’s first page Author’S name, email address, phone number, class of fiction.
* Authors can come with multiple works.
