Lungile Dumisani

Heavy shootings have been reported around Ministers Hill & Dantata Bridge in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The source of shooting or number of casualties is yet to be established. Earlier in the day, Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, ordered a beef up of security in the FCT in order to forestall security breach by the terrorists.

Apprehension greeted many parts of Abuja following the invasion of Kuje Prison by Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) on July 5, 2022.

In a statement on Tuesday, Force spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the IGP had charged the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) to collaborate with residents in order to ward off adversaries.

He explained that the force is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the miscreants were routed.

”We are not leaving any stone unturned to fortify the Federal Capital Territory and its environs.

”The IGP has ordered for additional deployment of assets to Strategic areas of the FCT while the Force Intelligence Bureau has been charged on robust Intelligence gathering and information sharing amongst other agencies.

”All residents of the FCT are urged to synergise and be on the same page with the Police and other security agencies in making sure that we forestall any ugly incidences in and around the FCT,” the statement read.

This is to inform reasonable Nigerians that the crop of rulers present in APC are self centered and will turn blind eyes if they are not affected. The insecurity that they have tolerated in various states is visiting them in Abuja, FCT and they are crying foul. APC must not happen to Nigeria in the next coming election, if we don't want the continuity of this insecurity menace.

By the time election sets in 2023 that is if there will be an election, everyone will vote Peter Obi because by then, it will be glaring even to the blind that the country need a total overhaul of the old system, that is controlled by old blood sucking islamists.

When Buhari was putting all his fellow Muslims/fulanies to occupy several positions in his government, he and his supporters defended him by claiming that he was more concerned about competence rather than sentiment. I guess we have seen how competent they are. Security which they now totally control has collapsed. Economy which they control has collapsed, Power which they control has collapsed.

Today Tinubu is giving us the same narrative that religion doesn't matter rather "competence" does, and again, his supporters have started defending him.

But I have a message for you all, miss it 2023, tell your lives and that of your generation goodbye.

Thanks.

The country is under heavy security challenge, now imagine voting the combination of EscoBAT, and founder of Boko haram, this country will be finished patapata. Let's avoid this and vote a right minded man of the people, in person of his HE Peter Gregory Obi.
