14. HAVE A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Be polite when relating to your customers. Don't pour out Nigeria's problems on them because they didn't buy from you.

Some people need the time to know and trust you before buying from you.

Keep to your word. If your delivery guy fails, call your customers and apologize. Keep to your word.

If for any reason, your customer wants a refund, please refund if you can.

A good name is very important in this business.

Once called a scammer, it would be very difficult to attract customers again, especially as a beginner.

Follow up your customers after they buy, ask them if there's any challenge in using your product and offer help if any arises.


Ask them for feedback, reviews and ways you can improve.

Now this is important, don't be shy to ask them if they think any of their friends will need your products/services.

Ask them to write a review/testimonial about you and tag you, make a video and tag you or refer you to anyone who needs your products.

They can also make a post on their WhatsApp status or Facebook and you need to request for any of these immediately they recieve your products or get results from it.

At that state/time, they are excited and will do anything for you.

You can't be nameless and Faceless and expect to sell online.

You have to be visible on social media and know how to sell.

WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram to mention a few.

Post pictures and videos of you and your products on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social media channels.

Everybody around you should know what you do.

If you sell hair, teach us about hair, tell us how to make our hairs shine brighter and look more beautiful, tell us about the best hair creams to use, show us the mistake most people make with hair, etc.

If you sell sex enhancement products, teach us about sex, pre-intimacy, how to make him/her want you, how to make him/her know you're in the mood without saying a word, etc.

15. BRANDING: This is very important if you want to make sales online. Your branding will determine the kind and calibre of people that come to you.

Most of the people who come to you are those….who want to look like you or look like you.

So your presentation matters.

You can't put up a #1 presentation and expect a #1 million Naira client to come to you.

Most times, before sending a message, your customers will go through your wall/account, your pictures, contents, comments and form a perception about you and this would determine whether they buy or not.

Mind you, they've not said hi yet.

You can't advertise and sell hairs of #70,000 when your pictures show you're on inferior products.

You can't sell beauty creams and products while your skin clearly needs help.

You can't claim your beauty products clears pimples, stretch marks, etc while yours is obvious.

You can't sell weight loss products when its obvious you're not using one.

You can't claim to sell a butt enlargement cream when yours is flat. Can you?

You have to look the part and that's where branding comes in.

Your customers will most likely be those who have looked at you and your journey and are wondering how you got your results.

Your customers will be those who want to have the kind of skin, shape, hairs, and results you have and this is when you'll introduce them to your products.

If I have to come to your wall and struggle to figure out what you do then you've not started.

In one word, your brand message or pinned post or welcome message should make me understand what you do.

Your contents should show me how much you know.

Your pictures should relate to what you do.

This is the beginning of branding and as a dropshipper/small business owner, you should put in so much effort in getting your branding right.

Most of your customers may never meet you in real life but through the content, pictures and posts you make will know you and form a perception about you.

Focus on your branding .

Go to the studio and take a studio-standard shot. This is what you should use as your profile picture.

Mind you, you should use the same picture on all your social media platforms so they ring a bell in your customer's head and you'll be easy to figure out…..as a beginner.
