Your crediting the success to Chimamanda Adichie is not completely true.

The Edo state government in colloboration with stakeholder at the federal level had been at the forefront of demanding this artworks right from the 1980s.

Pressure from many stakeholders holders in Nigeria cave in and it resulted in the european government holding this artfact to conclude that it was best for their national image and reputation to return the artworks or artifacts.

Chimamanda Adichie only came in lately to add her voice following her growing personality and the recognition of her works in the literature. by the european countries.

However, she should be thanked for her effort without much exaggeration that she is the principal persons behind the return of the artifacts.

I agree with you 100%. I was just marvelled that few days after that speech, plans are already being put in place to return those artifacts.
