Crimea was a bit fiery tonight

According to reports, fourteen weapons storage facilities across Crimea went kablewy in one night. Russians claim it was poor fire protocols, but what is the likelyhood of no incidenty across the peninsula going up in flames for months, then so many go off in one night?

It’s not zero, but it might as well be, that’s for sure.

All of these explosions are likely a result of Ukrainian action, probably with HIMARS systems. I’d say Ukraine recieved the longer-ranged ATACMS missiles and an explicit permission to use them against targets in Crimea. Sabotage is also an option, but hitting so many targets with saboteours is incredibly difficult to the point of impossibility. Airsrike is another option, but Ukraine has too few warbirds to risk them on a mission like this. Russia is also better able to protect against airstrikes than against missile strikes and there are no allegations of Ukrainian planes shot down.

ATACMS on HIMARS is the most likely explanation for what happened in Crimea.
