No. It's just a way for governments to now have 100% control over your money. Unlike naira notes that they can't fully keep track on what and how you spend and also find difficult to seize unless you put it in a bank. With e naira all that problem is solved. Your money can be frozen, tax deducted, etc at the click of a mouse. But worst of all they know 100% what you are doing with your money at any point in time. The only benefit is it is now digital money and can be used very easily to make payments local and internationally.
