Why is time management necessary?

The only thing given equally to humans is time. As the old saying goes, "time is money". Time is precious to everyone, and time is irretrievable. Both the rich and poor has 24hours per day. In business, we have to deal with multiple people, comply with delivery dates and deadlines, and produce results. In order to use the limited time effectively, it is important to think about how to use your time and act accordingly.

Time management is important when working in teams or groups. Poor time management can hinder other members and affect the progress of the entire team.

5 ways to manage your time

Here are five ways to manage your time.

1. Clarify the Purpose of Time Management

Having a clear goal keeps you motivated and helps you to work harder to achieve it. In business, the goal is to meet customer deadlines. In private, the purpose is to finish work by that time by scheduling time for hobbies.



2. Figure out when you can focus on work

Figure out when you can focus on your work during the day. It is important to write down all the uses of your time on a daily basis and to know the current situation. It is also a good idea to do difficult work during the time when you can concentrate the most, and do simple work during the time when you can not concentrate, or put some time into your hobbies as relaxation time.



3. Identify necessary tasks and prioritize them

After identifying all the tasks necessary for time management, prioritize the tasks. Considering the importance, urgency, deadline, etc. of the task, it is also a good idea to create a "To Do List". I recommend creating a “to do list” to avoid wasting time as much as possible.



4. Make a Schedule

Once you've prioritized your tasks, plan your schedule accordingly. It is best to do urgent work in the morning, and do difficult work in the morning when you can concentrate as much as possible. If you create a schedule that suits you, such as doing simple office work in the afternoon when it is difficult to concentrate, your work will progress.



5. Use a Time Management App

I recommend using a time management app. It visualize how you use your time and help you stay focused.
