NNPP Chairman, Rufai Akali Says They Will Not Collapse Their Structure For APC by AllTheWayUp: 1:53pm On Aug 25, 2022

The likelihood that there will be a merger between the ruling party APC and the NNPP (an emerging political party) is off the radar

The leadership of the NNPP said such possibilities had been quenched since the emergence of the new INEC guidelines

However, the party chairman, Prof. Rufai Alkali also reacted to the high-profile defection that ensued in the party

There will be no such thing as collapsing structure for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has confirmed.

Daily Trust newspaper reported that the party played down rumours making the rounds that there will be collapsing structure for the APC.

Reaffirming the stance of the party, its national chairman, Prof. Rufai Alkali said the party will not be considering collapsing the structure for the ruling party or any other party ahead of the 2023 presidential polls.

Alkali made this known while speaking with newsmen in Lagos over the alleged rumour that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPC standard bearer is on course to step down for APC’s Bola Tinubu.

He also disclosed to reporters that there will be no room for a coalition as it was already late going by the stipulations of the 2023 election guidelines released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

While also reacting to the recent development leading to the defection of Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Kano state, Rufai said it was his decision to make, and the entire family at NNPP respects his decision.

He stated that there was no need for controversies and that the NNPP is solely focused on displacing the duopoly of the APC and PDP in the forthcoming general elections in 2023

Meanwhile, the confidence level of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) ahead of the 2023 presidential election is high at present.

The party's flag bearer and former Kano state governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is one of the major frontrunners for the Aso Rock seat.

The party's chieftain, Buba Galadima, boasted that the party already has the northwest, northcentral, and some part of the south in its paws.

Prior to the defection of Ibrahim Shekarau, the presidential candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso denied having grudges with the ex-Kano governor.

Kwankwaso, while reacting to the defection rumour of the Kano central senatorial candidate, promised to cede more prestigious positions to Shekarau's camp if the party wins in 2023.

The presidential hopeful added that all agreements the party had with Shekarau were met except that of the contestants, which was due to the time frame

Reality is dawning on Tinubu and his Strategists that Tinubu can not win the North.
Atiku will pull the highest number of votes in the entire North, now Tinubu is running Helter skelter seeking alliance with Kwankwaso and Shekarau in the North in order to neaturalize Atiku's votes in the North.
If Tinubu lose the North which will inevitably happen , it is bye bye and game over to Tinubu Presidential ambition, as only south west block votes will not be enough for him to overcome Atiku's vote tally in the North, as the stubbornly unrepentant pro PDP south South and South East zones are a no go area for Tinubu and APC right from time and now based on the Muslim Muslim ticket

Hate it or Love it, The Muslim Muslim ticket was a political suicide and political own goal scored by Tinubu, thinking the Northerners will rally behind him. Tinubu and his Strategists mistook the political and religious dynamics in Nigeria today with that of 1992 when MKO Abiola ran on Muslim Muslim ticket
Where are those Confused political naive Tinubu zombies, they should keep on dreaming and hallucinating that Tinubu will get more votes than Atiku in the North

BATified urchins will tell you that Tinubu has pocketed Hausa, Fulani and other tribes in Northern Nigeria because he has Lagos State treasury money to be spending like Wike.
2023 will be a shocker to BAT supporters.
The election will be a tie between Obi and Atiku.

If Southerners (Yorubas, Igbos and others) want power to return back to the South, they should rally behind Peter Obi's Labour Party. If not power may likely remain in the North. Obi has better chances even in the South than Tinubu due to many factors.
Besides Christians from the North would vote for Obi before even thinking of whether Tinubu is contesting.

Meanwhile hope BAT will continue his importation business after 2023.

This Election is between Atiku and Obi is no doubt. My advice for Tinubu is to support his fellow Southerner and stop being selfish by the way is not the turn of South West let the truth be tell.

Urchins won't be happy with this news..

NE/NW votes must be divided accordingly.
APC 30%
PDP 30%
NNPP 25%
LP 10%
Others 5%

I listened to the said kwankwaso interview, where he said tell my friend Tinubu to it easy as result of his health.
He categorically said, he is waiting to hear what Tinubu is going to tell Nigerians this time.
From the interview, you will notice that kwankwaso doesn't believe in Tinubu capability to lead Nigeria.

I repeat Tinubu Presidential ambition is Dead on Arrival and buried before the election.
That Muslim Muslim ticket has automatically cancelled Tinubu from Winning any state in south South and South East.
Tinubu has to win the North in order for him to be President since he is cancelled in the south South and South East which are no go area for him
.
If he loses the North which is inevitable, he has also lost the presidential election.
Take it or leave it, Atiku will win the North convincingly , leaving Tinubu with only south west votes with South South and South East shared by Atiku and Peter Obi (PDP and Labor)

Well written. Atiku is quietly watching them. My elder who works in my uncle's company in Abuja told me the northern boys in the company told him that PDP's logo is always shared to them every day in the mosque 4 them to start now to remember the party they're to vote 4 in 2023, so other parties shud pipe down a little

Many things will unfold as usual as we approach 2023 Presidential elections..

Nothing as changed about the way our politicians behave....if you have been following Nigeria's politics for a while...you won't be surprised...

I pity the supporters that are not members of political parties... don't be disappointed when your aspirant and his party decamps at the very last minute...

Nigeria's Politicians...trust them at your own detriment.
