CC To University Question For An Aspiring Applicant by jackaustin631: 7:01pm On Aug 30, 2022
Hey, everyone! I'm a pre-med in Texas who went to a great CC and did most of his degree there due to finances. I absolutely loved my time there and finished there, with my Associate's, with a cGPA of 3.90 and an sGPA of 4.00. Then, I transferred to my local University during quarantine and finished with a lower overall GPA: 3.709.

Will I be fine? I know it all depends and that this GPA is a very good one (in general), but I am just a bit worried due to the lower GPA at my Universities Boss. I still did well in my non-science courses at University (almost-all upper division, so they can see I can handle material there), but not so well in the science courses there - it was also due to almost-all of my time at University being in quarantine.

Thanks. I would appreciate any good input. Especially, will I still be set for DO schools (especially the newer ones) with an MCAT of 502+, at least?
