Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, called for Harry Maguire to be dropped last season because he was “part of the problem” at the club.

The 37-year-old returned to Old Trafford last summer, but failed to help the club qualify for the Champions League, as they could only finish in sixth place.

Details have now emerged surrounding Ronaldo’s demands, from team selection to formation tweaks.

According to the Athletic, Ronaldo was part of a group of players who went up to interim boss Ralf Rangnick at Carrington in February this year.

Among them were Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba but Ronaldo’s message came through clearly when he said: “Maguire is part of the problem.”

Rangnick is said to have told them it was “inappropriate” to speak about Maguire when the player was not present.

Ronaldo also had a view on the team’s formation and wanted to play alongside Edinson Cavani up front, but his request fell on deaf ears.

Ironically, Ronaldo and Maguire have been benched under new manager Erik ten Hag, in their last two fixtures against Liverpool and Southampton.

After he failed in Turin, they began to blame other players and coaches……same people that said, he can win UCL with 10 woods.

Nobody is disputing about Team work, nobody stops other players from scoring, Rashford&Sancho has been a complete shadow of themselves, Ronaldo even open up to the manager a strike partner he would love to play alongside to deliver those goals, but never granted, still his 18premier league goals ensured Man Utd finished 6th on the log.

It can be frustrating scoring goals to save your club in matches you're suppose to win convincingly, but a mediocre expensive defender Maguire will be messing things up at the back, playing sluggishly, absent minded, giving away the ball carelessly to opposing attackers, lacks coordination at the back, exposing De Gea unnecessarily.

Alright my brother, I wish the new manager the best of luck, my issues now is 1or 2goals in a match ain't enough, cos there will be a time goal difference will determine title winner or top4 teams at the end of he season.
