Police arrests Rapper Ice Prince for driving without license plate and abducting an officer


Ice Prince Zamani, a Nigerian hip-hop recording artist, has been detained for kidnapping and assaulting a police officer and is scheduled to appear in court today, September 2.

Benjamin Hundeyin, a Nigerian police superintendent and the current Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed this.

Hundeyin took to Twitter to tell how and when the renowned rapper was jailed.

"At 3 a.m. tonight, @Iceprincezamani was caught for driving without license plates," he added. He consented to be driven to the police station. He then kidnapped the cop in his car, attacked him, and threatened to toss him in the river. He was arrested and was scheduled to appear in court today.Ice Prince was arrested for driving without a license plate and kidnapping a police officer. He'd be arrested today."

The controversial director made this known on Twitter, where he stated that humility is the key to a good road trip free of harassment from men in uniform.
