I used my fidelity debit card to purchase item worth $32. In the invoice I received the Naira equivalent was stated, and it Is 14k+. But waking up his morning fidelity debited #19750.

What must have been the cause of the additional charges?

The people that have final say on the naira equivalent is the bank, not the invoice issued by the website because they don’t know the exchange rate

You must have been charged for a DCC transaction fee which is 30%/35% of the transaction amount depending if it is a Verve or Visa card
