A statement regarding recent social media posts by Uju Anya.

We do not condone the offensive and objectionable messages posted by Uju Anya today on her personal social media account. Free expression is core to the mission of higher education, however, the views she shared absolutely do not represent the values of the institution, nor the standards of discourse we seek to foster.

How can a person of her status who is a schorlar at Carnegie Mellon uttered such a despicable statement

IQ without Emtional Intelligence is disastrous

Dr. Uju Anya is a university professor and researcher in applied linguistics, critical sociolinguistics, and critical discourse studies primarily examining race, gender, sexual, and social class identities in new language learning through the experiences of African American students.

Nigerian again for the wrong reason!

History breeds hatred
What she tweeted is defendable but it's better we (Africans) move on and repair our lovely continent...

They've moved on too, they won't missed us if Africa sunk tomorrow

Why are they condemning it? This is what you teach them in your schools, how to hate White people (mostly Republicans). But guess who else is also White? Democrats. You should embrace the monster you made, because they will come for you, as they're doing already.

She has a right to say what she said. I noticed White people are already trying to rewrite history that the queen supported self governance of colonies under the British empire.

Someone that transitioned colonialism through commonwealth nations and made herself the life president.

I dont know the lady but she is 100% right. May the Queen never rest in peace. I pray God put the queen in the most painful and deepest part of hell. The queen and her family damaged the lives of millions especially black Africans. They took over our lands stole our resources and installed puppets to control african future.

We are not ignorant of the slavery, oppression and thievery of the British colonialist headed by Her Majesty.

However, we also cannot deny it open the door of civilization to us.

Being vile and hateful will not bring healing to the past. We cannot continue to live in the past
