Should Atiku win, it would be the first time in history that both the president and vice would be coming from outside the major influential blocks i.e. Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba or NW, SE & SW. It may appear like a non issue on the face value but beneath the surface, it's a dangerous dimension that may torpedo Nigeria. Worse still, it would be the first time that both East and West are sidelined at the same time.

In the first republic, Tafawa Balewa worked with Nnamdi Azikiwe to maintain stability. In the second republic, Shagari worked with Alex Ekwueme. Obasanjo worked with Atiku. Then Goodluck Jonathan with Namadi Sambo. Lastly, Buhari with Osinbajo.

The only period that was a little close to that was Goodluck Jonathan government, but his vice was from NW and he used both Igbos and Niger Delta militants to support himself and the current situation wasn't at play.

Nigeria has become severely fractured in recent times and there are currently unresolved issues like herdsmen killings all over the country, kidnappings, separatist agitations, and oil bunkering that is threatening to reduce our official output to zero.

Atiku's emergence as president would mean that both Obi and Tinubu lost. This situation would most likely unite the South because for the first time in history, their interests would align! If Kwankwaso drops to support Atiku or INEC was percieved to have rigged, and Atiku won, Nigeria would face serious crises. You can see how just Wike alone has been threatening to bring down the roof because of how Atiku emerged through Tambuwal's betrayal. Wike is the most influential leader from SS now. You heard the outbursts of Ogbonnaya Onu during the APC primaries. Then you're hearing the subtle threats from Akeredolu that South must produce the president. These are the sentiments that would rally the 3 Southern regions together to confront North (and the middle belt already has increasingly distanced itself from the core North). Believe me, the myth about North being powerful would be exposed as a fallacy.

North has been "powerful" all these years is because of two things, using one Southern group against another while rallying the middle belt on their side, Atiku's emergence would destroy that advantage.

2023 promises to herald great and unprecedented events in Nigeria. Mark it today!

Lol

Sometimes if baffles me what you zombidients miscreants really want.

For christsake, this is an election. An election is meant to be democratically contested. It is the right of anyone to vote and be voted for except some few set asides by law ofcourse.

But the problem now is you obidients insults Tinubu, always rejoicing for defection into atiku's camp, but still want to use a reverse self pity emotional psychology to tell people the North is bad through your disjointed political analysis and beer parlour arguments.. And the south should unite.

For what actually, or for whom actually?
I just dont get it. What do you people really want?

You prefer obi, you like atiku, you hate tinubu, you hate the north, but you want North central. you want the christians, but you hate the yorubas..you hate the muslims, but you want the muslim state..... The list goes on, very confused set of people. How complicated for christsake.

What do you people really want. Or should we tell INEC to just declare peter obi the winner without election?

Hehehe.

You try but I will view it from a different angle.

If Atiku becomes the president and do the following, nothing will happen.

1: competency and federal character should be strictly observed while giving appointment's.

If Atiku bring in men who are competent from every geopolitical zones in Nigeria, the tension will cool down, nerves will settle down.
You remember the present administration brought in a lot of division as regards appointments. People will say it seems this guy has a different thing on the table.
They will have sense of belonging.

2: Tackle economy.

If Atiku is able to improve the economy within a short period of time, the masses will pass a vote of confidence in him. Mind you hunger and bad economy know no tribe and region.

3: Tackle insecurity.

Nigerians too like life grin. Once our lives and properties is save, most of us don't care the tribe that is in power.
Foreign investors will also come in a boost the economy.
