On behalf of our client, a major stakeholder in the healthcare sector of the Nigerian economy with presence in major Nigerian cities seeks the services of an experienced and results-driven HR Consultant to align and drive its HR initiatives and functions.

Initially signing on a 6-9 months contract, renewal/conversion to contract of employment will be based on objective evaluation of performance. The ideal role holder will be responsible for aligning staff to business objectives, building a talent pool of health care professionals, enhancing staff performance, supporting employee development, planning strategic HR initiatives, running orientation and onboarding processes and maintaining staff relations.

Requirements and skills

· Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive especially in the Nigerian Healthcare sector

· People oriented and results driven

· Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

· Knowledge of HR Information Systems and databases

· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

· Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

· In-depth knowledge of labor law, especially within the Nigerian healthcare sector

Person Specification:

B.Sc. / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or any other social science-related course.
Minimum of 10 years post NYSC cognate experience of which 5 years should be at managerial level in the health care sector
Possession of a recognized certification in HR (CIPM, SPHR, and CHRM) will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of relevant Nigerian Labour Laws.
Knowledgeable about HRIS, Payroll Processing
