Nigeria’s youngest Presidential Aspirant in the 2015 Presidential Election and Candidate of the Young Democratic Party for Federal House of Representatives, Ekiti Central has been appointed as Director of Planning & Logistics of the African Union Youth Assembly (AUYA) in Nigeria on the 18th of September, 2022. The announcement which was made by the Country President (Nigeria) and Security Council Board Member, African Union Youth Assembly was received with great delight by distinguished Hon. OLABODE John Wesley (MFR) who considers the appointment as another call to serve the interests of ever articulate and industrious Nigerian Youth.

He assured the Council of commitment to Youth Advocacy, selfless service and propagation of Youth inclusiveness in politics and governance in Nigeria and across Africa.
“I shall ensure maximum cooperation with the council to ensure we achieve our primary goal and likewise make my service year to the Union a productive one” he said.
