Pardon my grammatical errors biko.

some travellers said they usually use free wifi at the airport whenever they have stop over(usually qatar airways)

now here are my questions. I'v know nothing about travelling abroad, that's why l'm asking.

1. How do they connect to the wifi. Do nigerian network providers like mtn, glo e.t.c work abroad?
2. For those going abroad on study visa, do they use their nigerian sim cards abroad or they buy a new one.

is it the sim card they are using in nigeria they'll use to connect? Or can a phone connect to wifi without a sim card?
