Rising from the excellent presentation made by HE Governor Udom Emmanuel on the investment potentials in Akwa Ibom State, investors based in the United Kingdom have resolved to channel their investments to Akwa Ibom State. They identified Agriculture, SMEs,Gas production, waste to wealth, real estate, power generation as some of their areas of interest.

The investors meeting which was arranged by Cater and Merger ltd UK and hosted by the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club held at the Club’s London Office in Knightsbridge, London. Some of the investors in attendance were:

Worst governor in the history of akwaibom.

Una no go invade Delta state. I heard all the men there, na keke dem dey drive. Abeg, help my brothers. Just ignore that horse teeth governor that performed like a low IQ slowpoke.

Some factors that make Nigeria less attractive to the inflow of foreign direct investment go beyond states. As it has been repeatedly established, no investor can bring their money in a country with unstable currency, clueless central leaders, huge debts and insecurity.

Until we are able to sort out these challenges or be seen taking bold steps to tackle them, attracting foreign Investors to Nigeria will always remain a mirage. Doing business is hard enough, but seeing dangers and investing your money in it is sheer stupidity.
