We need a cost effective presidential debate from this presidential aspirants and not rallies and political jingles, where after a lot of money will be spent.The winner will recover all the money spent.

Politicians don't spend their own money for free.

Buhari never attended a presidential debate in 2015 and 2019 election.He used CHANGE AND NEXT LEVEL most people cannot relate.
Politicians from his party including tinubu,were the ones who campaign and sponsor all the campaign posters and hired 2k crowd for rallies.

The money spent run into billions of naira.
When Buhari won the (questionable though) election he never fulfilled any of the promises.He appointed ex governors,senators,crude oil thieves and son's of political godfathers who spent their states and corrupt money in his cabinets.These appointees are looting their ministries without him doing anything.
However,Buhari denied making those promise.The same is playing out by atiku,tinubu and Peter Obi.

Those money spent in printing t-shirts and caps with political party emblem and distribute to their hired crowd is not free.The politician who sponsors it will recover times 5 of what he spent on it.

Therefore,We can hold them accountable with a presidential debate when they come to discuss their mission for the country if elected more than rallies where they paid comedians,musicians and hired crowd to be snapping pictures and catching fun upandan when Nigeria is burning.
