This Lagos was once a FCT talk is stale. Is Lagos state the only former FCT? Check other states that has been FCT and compare them to Lagos. You IPOB pigs should rest this matter.

How come Osun (tinubu state), Ondo and Ekiti not replicating Lagos feat?
By the way which other state has been FCT apart from Abuja?
Who even told you that Lagos (worst city after Damascus) is even something to be proud of??
Lack of travel and exposure is just your problem, just travel to common Nairobi or Addis Ababa and see if you will not be ashamed of yourself. Which kind low minds be this sef

Without federal allocation, Lagos paid salaries.
With federal allocation, Abia couldn't pay salaries.

Can you now see that you can never have sense in your life again.

Can't you say with IGR they were able to pay salaries too oga Solomon. Or didn't you see where I mentioned IGR?
How come Tinubu state osun is struggling to even feed talk more of salary.

I wonder why Lagos state still borrows to fund budget. A state making over 40b Naira monthly. This is a world wonder.
The money Lagos makes and still making is enough to complete any project within 4 years without borrowing.

People would mention rail, rail that has been under construction for over a decade.

Even US with all their wealth still borrow. In fact they have the biggest debt profile. Developed and developing countries borrows.

Ex governors Fashola and Ambode saw that Owo mi da syndrome was becoming too much from chief agbero of Lagos State, Tinubu and they resisted it and the greedy Tinubu installed his stooge. Tinubu is enjoying his ROI (Return On Investment)

Tinubusm: Behold Tinubu's Economics: increase IGR from N7Bn To N20Bn but leave indebtedness running to Billions of Naira.

Check it out from Tinubu, To Fashola, To Ambode, now to Sanwo-Olu.

APC: Misappropriation Incorporated

Tinubu's legacies are as follows: Agberoism & Gross Indebtedness.

Worse still, if you compare what they claim they did vs what they claimed they spent, you would see covetousness, mismanagement, misappropriation, embezzlement, agreed, corruption & rottenToBad system.

Ask Babatunde Badamosi. Check the interview: He will give u titbits of what Lagos did with Ecowas funds for the Seme to badagry to Lagos Island road and rail project...

He took Lagos as his personal property, just imagine if he becomes president, he'll own other states just like he's done to Lagos.

And all those states will grow like Lagos.
Thanks to him in advance.

When a poor man hears about debt, they run helter-skelter and even go to the extreme to avoid one of the world's basic secrets to prosperity...

The rich view debt as a very strong financial instrument to accumulate wealth as they know everything the bank claims to have as cash reserve is nothing but figures and are only propped up by the gullible ones who think saving money is the right way to accumulate wealth...

When you save money, you barely make any reasonable interest on it rather the bank invest your money in well-calculated high-risk debt funds and other financial instruments, make interest on your money but share little to no profit with you, that's why savings interest rate are always the lowest in the history of financial appropriations

When money is borrowed for the right reasons under reasonable repayment structures and invested in capital expenditures, servicing such debt becomes less of a burden as the project under every reasonable circumstance will have a service life that far exceeds human life..

Mr Jandor either knows the truth but playing to the gallery to appeal to the emotions of the uninformed or he is not well informed financially.....

Typical Urchins, if the rich indulge in reckless borrowing they would become poor overnight.

Nigeria would still remain a 3rd world country becos of ppl like U who support tribalism and sentiments over reason and logic.

They're so corrupt. You can see as they're praising sanwoolu, one of the worst performing governors in Lagos. Cos he's doing their bidding. We're voting wisely in Lagos next year. This isn't about noise-making on nairaland or social media. The battle will be taken to the polls and the results would male all the noise instead.

God have mercy on them.

Money was wasted on your education. Compare Lagos budget with those of its counterparts like Dubai, Cairo and Johannesburg. You'll see that Lagos budget is too small to cater for the infrastructural needs of a city with over 20 million inhabitants.

Naturally, I won't respond to your type of mention but calm down and take a chill pill and go get the most basic financial literacy book " Rich dad, poor dad" by Robert Kiyosaki maybe after that you would have been able to learn that money in the n bank is nothing but just a number and you can manipulate debt in your favour....

Stop beating about the bush.
The key question is, what was N797b + $1.3b spent on? Yet, he still wants to borrow another N350b. On top of this Lagos generates N40b in IGR monthly. Potholes everywhere. Traffic lights not working. Gutters and canals not cleared. No new schools and hospitals built. No industries built to create jobs.

Everything is funnelled into Tinubu's pockets and that of his children Seyi and Folashade Ojo-Tinubu.
