The game is they don't want elections to hold in the east because they know Igbos will not let election hold without releasing MNK.

Lies,
Same way others postulated his release would reduce the chances of south east presidency...lol

It has nothing to do with election... they are buying time to flee the country before his release

Malami has forgotten he does not enjoy immunity like the pesident and can be prosecuted in office. You would expect an attorney general to know better. As these statements suggest, a court can order his arrest for contempt.

And he has been winning in all the cases and all these your frivolous and fictitious charges were dropped. Please shamefully tell us that you are not able to admit that you lost the cases because you are afraid of paying compensation for damages.

What kind of country is this called Nigeria and this Buhari government?
As much as I don't support some of Nnamdi Kanu's actions and activities, the Nigerian federal government said that the case for his release is within the court to decide. Now the court has freed and acquitted him. Then you don't want to obey the court. Why take him to the court in the first place?

They only took Kanu to court to give the false impression that Buhari is law abiding

They had no intention of releasing Nnamdi Kanu, no matter what the courts say

Fulanis can never change! their savagery, lust for other people's lands and power domination is as constant as the Northern star! unfortunately Afonjas have built an air of indomitability around the inbred sahelian savages....see how tinubu is licking fulani spittle from maidugri to sokoto..............Is it not the same government against the rule of law, brutally killed hundreds of young IPOB members matching for self determination! killed endsars protesters in cold blood, massacred shias in Zaria! ...................................the day the owners of this land will collectively remember fulani ehhh !

Your plans wont work out this time, there is a strong political link up in this whole story line, its very clear that the unrest in south east is of high gains to malami and his father bubu....they are scared because peter obi will secure more votes in the east if nnamdi kanu is released

Very insightful, and it has always been one of my arguments! They are invested in seeing the insecurity in the south-east continue, as THEY are the diabolical brains….the criminal minds behind it! Releasing Mazi Kanu now would put a spanner in the works and their propaganda merchants on print, electronic and social-media wouldn’t have any ‘reason’ to blame Mazi Kanu, IPOB or ESN for the murders, targeted assassinations and other evil they carry out in the south-east region!

At this rate, when Nnamdi Kanu finally gets back to Kenya, it will be harder to convince a Kenyan judge to extradite him to Nigeria as Kanu's lawyers will simply show them that Nigeria government don't respect local and international laws and treaties.

This government keeps making fools out of themselves, while disgracing the normal populace.

jumping bail is another crime to be handled separately... The stand of the court is that he should be released and returned back to Kenya. Let's be clear here, the court isn't saying he didn't commit offenses. All the court is saying is that the AGF should follow due process in arresting him and bring him for trials.

Wrong. That’s not what the court is saying. All the 15 count charges leveled against Kanu has been quashed on the merit that due process was not followed. If FG re-arrest Kanu, what charges will they bring against him since all the 15 charges have been dismissed.
Malami is a dunce. Kanu will beat him any day any time in court. Again, Malami is not subjected to immunity that the president, vice president, gobs and their deputies enjoy. He can be charged for contempt to the court and that is a criminal offense. He’s intellectually very weak and inferior. As it stands, he already has a case to answer. He forgets that as an attorney general, he can’t arbitrate on his own case or any case he takes to court for that matter. He’s such a fool. NBA should make provisions to debar him.

This Fulani government has been releasing many Boko Haram members and other killers by their own volition and without any court judgement backing them. But here they are, flagrantly going against court order to release Nnamdi Kalu. These are very vindictive set of people, they don't care whether towing the path of political settlement of releasing Nnamdi Kalu would assuage the tense situation in South East at the moment and bring back peace in that zone. All they care is, they want to show their superiority and authority over a certain people.

You see when it is said -and El-Rufai even corroborated this- that the Fulani are a very vindictive people who can bear a very long grudge, the ongoing travesty of justice we see at play with the Mazi Kanu ‘treason’ trial is a case in point! Basically, what’s happening here is the Fulani wanting to extract their pound of flesh for all the abuse Mazi Kanu heaped on their heads….and for exposing all their plans for Nigeria! They are prepared to go along with court rulings only to the extent that they don’t interfere with their plans to show Mazi Kanu pepper and put the ‘nyamiri’ in their place!

I once read a documentary of a CIA agent who arrested and convicted several criminals in the USA... After about a year or two, the harden criminals were all released because he followed undue process and violated their privacy to extract information used against them. Now the agent was dismissed and the criminals freed.
I didn't write up these to state that Nnamdi Kanu is a criminal, but to state that when due process is not followed, every conviction is illegal no matter the crime.
So the AGF should just accept their mistake and free the man.
Secondly, someone should be dismissed for carrying out an illegal arrest.
this is what you get when you have a quota system lawyer as your AGF. Someone who score 20 in jamb to read law in a northern University.

The AGF is a pos but is right on this issue. MNK jumped bail, was flying around the world courtesy of Israel, stopped for a minute in the UK to beep his wife, then decided to go sample some of that luscious, gigantic Kenyan yanish which proved to be his Waterloo. grin

Malami is just wasting his time. International conventions and treaties are superior to Nigeria's laws. Before any court takes you seriously now, you have to free Nnamdi Kanu. Like the last verdict says, you have to take him back to where you brought him from.

Get the Kenyan authorities to repatriate him before the rest of the charges can be pressed. If not, the federal government will keep disgracing themselves like they always do.

Nnamdi Kanu even jumped bail because of overzealous soldiers that went to his home to kill people. We just have the worst of us running this country.
the United States raising alarm on attack on Abuja do they obey these treatise? Didn't u saw how Spain restricted catalunya after they went rogue.. the supreme Court is the final bustop of this matter... Nnamdi Kanu is a security risk he abuse his bail conditions ran away previously
Re: Malami: Why FG Is Keeping Nnamdi Kanu Despite Court Ruling by Grandemperor(m): 4:12pm On Oct 28, 2022
Malami is being cajoled into delving of substantive issues; and that is against the practice direction of any court or trial. Given that the plethora of cases filed by IPOB vs FGN are all based on procedural jurisdiction, the judgments pertain to merely such. The defendant through the IPOB defence counsel did not deny the charge but had issues with the extraordinary rendition and locus/loci of the preferred charge. To delve into the charge is premature. If the defendant through his counsel had vehemently denied the charge, the prevailing ''inconsequential judgments'' would have held sway. If the Umuahia court prevails, for the sake of international law, diplomacy and geopolitics, which country would accept the defendant per the locus of the extraordinary rendition? The UK, Israel, Brazil, and grimly, Kenya ''shirked'' responsibility. The case/appeal on rendition went to the Supreme Court but an Umuahia court neglected it and ruled on it, even after it had to stand down for the Court of Appeal to give judgment........ I swear, I tire.
